Ice Breaker Pin

You receive your Ice Breaker pin from the Tandem Toastmasters club after you give the first speech in the Communication and Leadership Program (basic) manual.

Half-CC/CTM

To receive your Half-CC/CTM award from the Tandem Toastmasters club, you must complete the first five speeches in the Communication and Leadership Program (basic) manual.

Half-AC/ATM-B

To receive your Half-AC/ATM-B award from the Tandem Toastmasters club, you must:

• Be a CC/CTM.
• Complete one of the Advanced Communication and Leadership Program manuals.

Governor's 20 Ribbon

Area G4 awards the Governor's 20 Ribbon to clubs that have 20 members (charter strength).

Competent Communicator/Toastmaster (CC/CTM)

• Complete the ten speeches in the Communication and Leadership Program (basic) manual.
• Submit your CTM application to Toastmasters International.

Toastmasters International will:

• Send you a certificate
• Send you the three Advanced Communication and Leadership Program manuals of your choice
• Send your employer a notice of your accomplishment, if you wish

AC/ATM Bronze (AC/ATM-B)

To receive your ATM Bronze (ATM-B) award from Toastmasters International, you must:

• Be a CC/CTM.
• Complete two additional Advanced Communication and Leadership Program manuals.

Toastmasters International will:

• Send you a certificate
• Send your employer a notice of your accomplishment, if you wish

AC/ATM Silver (AC/ATM-S)

To receive your ATM Silver (ATM-S) award from Toastmasters International, you must:

• Be an AC/ATM Bronze.

• Complete two additional Advanced Communication and Leadership Program manuals (excluding those used for your ATM Bronze award).

• Conduct any two programs from the Better Speaker Series or the Successful Club Series.

Toastmasters International will:

• Send you a certificate
• Send your employer a notice of your accomplishment, if you wish

AC/ATM Gold (AC/ATM-G)

To receive your ATM Gold (ATM-G) award from Toastmasters International, you must:

• Be an AC/ATM Silver.

• Complete two additional Advanced Communication and Leadership Program manuals (excluding those used for your ATM Bronze or ATM Silver award).

• Conduct a registered Success/Communication Program, Success/Leadership Program, or Youth Leadership Program. (Success/Leadership and Success/Communication programs cannot be those completed for an ATM Bronze award received before July 1, 1997.)

• Coach a new member with the first three speech projects.

Toastmasters International will:

• Send you a certificate
• Send your employer a notice of your accomplishment, if you wish

Competent Leader (CL)

To receive your Competent Leader (CL) award from Toastmasters International, you must:

• Be a CTM.
• Serve at least six months as a club officer and participate in the preparation of a Club Success Plan.
• While a club officer, participate in a district-sponsored club officer training program.
• Conduct any two programs from the Successful Club Series.

Toastmasters International will:

• Send you a certificate
• Send your employer a notice of your accomplishment, if you wish

Advanced Leader (AL)

To receive your Advanced Leader (AL) award from Toastmasters International, you must:

• Be a CL.
• Serve a complete term as a district officer.
• Complete the High Performance Leadership Program.
• Serve successfully as a Club Sponsor, Mentor, or Specialist.

Toastmasters International will:

• Send you a certificate
• Send your employer a notice of your accomplishment, if you wish

Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM)

To receive your Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award from Toastmasters International, you must:

• Be an AC/ATM Gold.
• Be an AL.

Toastmasters International will:

• Send you a certificate
• Send your employer a notice of your accomplishment, if you wish
• Announce your accomplishment in its magazine, The Toastmaster
• Present you with a DTM medal at a District Conference

Tandem Toastmaster of the Year

Every year each Toastmasters club chooses a Club Toastmaster of the Year. The selection criteria for the Tandem Toastmaster of the Year are:

• Attendance
• Leadership
• Educational achievements
• Sponsorship of new members
• Participation in inter-Club, Area, Division, and District activities

From the Club Toastmasters of the Year in each Area, an Area Toastmaster of the Year is chosen; from the Area Toastmasters of the Year, a Division Toastmaster of the Year is chosen, and from the Division Toastmasters of the Year, a District Toastmaster of the Year is chosen.
